I will give you rain
in due season, so that the land
will bear its crops, and the trees their fruit;
your threshing will last till vintage time,
and your vintage till the time for sowing,
and you will have food to eat in abundance
I will
establish
peace in the land,
that you may lie down to rest without anxiety.
I will rid the country of ravenous beasts,
and keep the sword of war from
sweeping across your land.

Io vi mandero' le piogge
necessarie nella loro stagione,
la terra dara' i suoi prodotti e gli
alberi dei campi daranno i loro frutti.
La vostra trebbiatura durera' fino alla vendemmia,
e la vendemmia vi durera' fino alla semina;
e mangerete il vostro pane a sazietà
e risiederete tranquilli nel vostro paese.
Ed Io faro' si che la pace regni nel paese;
voi vi coricherete e non ci sara' chi vi spaventi;
e la spada non passera' per il vostro paese.
